NICEVILLE, FL – This month, Jonathan Ochs, president of Trustmark Bank for Okaloosa and Walton Counties and Northwest Florida State College Foundation Board Member, presented a $25,000 pledge to Northwest Florida State College on behalf of Trustmark Bank.

The pledge will enhance the bank’s previously established endowment – the Trustmark Bank Scholarship. The scholarship provides support to Northwest Florida State College students with financial need who reside in Okaloosa or Walton County.

As a director on the Foundation Board, Jonathon Ochs, knows first-hand the importance of providing help through new and expanded scholarship funding. Trustmark Bank’s gift will enable students to focus on their studies instead of financial barriers.

“Trustmark Bank’s support provides a platform for student success,” said Dr. Devin Stephenson, president of Northwest Florida State College. “Thanks to this gift, students in our community will receive financial support to help them rise and meet their educational goals.”
