2015 Against the Odds Award Recipient

Dr. David E. Lambert was recently named Chief Scientist of the Munitions Directorate at Eglin Air Force Base.  Dr. Lambert, credits hard work, determination and Northwest Florida State College for putting him on a career path to success.  His love of math and science took root at NWF.  Having grown up in a single-parent household in low income housing he remembers help he received along the way, and pays it forward at every opportunity by taking time to mentor and teach young scientists and engineers who follow in his footsteps.
