2015 Rising Star Award Recipient

2nd Lt Elvira N. Chiccarelli is a graduate of Northwest Florida State College and the NWFSC Collegiate High School.  Following graduation, Chicarrelli was offered an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy, where she distinguished herself academically, served in numerous leadership positions and was a member of the Varsity Swim Team.  While at the academy she volunteered as mentor to middle school girls and was chosen to participate in several cultural and academic programs abroad, traveling to the UK, Asia and France.  Currently in her third year of medical school at Tulane University she is enrolled in the Honor’s Program, an elected representative on the Student Honor Board and serves on the school of Medicine Constitutional Reform Committee.
