2019 Hometown Hero Award Recipient
Tricia Brunson has served as a Chamber of Commerce Executive for 22 years. Before her work at the Chamber, Tricia worked as a volunteer for the Florida Department of Education and the Okaloosa County School District, where, working with teachers, she presented workshops for schools and parent groups who have children in special education divisions. Tricia has participated in numerous service activities and leadership roles. She served as Commissioner of the East Niceville Fire District from 2013 – 2016) and established the Friends of the Niceville Library Foundation Board. Over the years, Tricia has organized assistance efforts after natural disasters. She organized the sorting and delivery process for areas impacted by Hurricane Katrina and later the tornados in the greater Tuscaloosa area.
